I make weird indie ttrpgs.

10.19. Reproductive Console

Featuring pristine buttons, levers and knobs, the console is monitored by a Wet Nurse Automaton. They lovingly adjust settings as the cloning process proceeds.

Once the clone is formed, the nurse will gently transfer the body to an incubator in the room to the east.

10.18. Cloning Chamber

Each day, an over-engineered cloning chamber produces a duplicate of the Tetric Necromancer.

Bewildered and feeble, the body is placed in an incubation chamber for up to a week, to allow for additional muscle mass to be grown. Select memories are also imprinted at this time, manipulating the clone to perform its desired function, continuing the evil schemes of clones past.

When ready, this “Clone Prime” is moved to a bed chamber and awakened, believing that they are the true Tetric Necromancer.

Outside an incubator, they live for roughly 12 hours, less if they exert themselves. After putting in a full day, they lay down to rest, then dissolve into a puddle of black slime. The cycle continues.

10.17. East Balcony

A chilling breeze snaps through the room. The entire east wall has eroded, leaving a gaping hole to the outside.

Noted in the rubble, the remnants of a campfire can be found, its embers still smouldering. A small collection of supplies and provisions have been hoarded nearby.

Past the precipice, a drop of over 200 feet. Further out, one’s gaze falls upon acres of scrubland. At the horizon, the edge of the eastern swamps.

10.16. Warehouse

Many a soirée was held in this hall, graced often by the kingdom’s elite. Now it’s relegated to storage. Crates are stacked haphazardly, filled with scientific equipment, much of it decades old.
